We were entertained by Ruud Kleinpaste at a special assembly today. He talked about the importance of insects to our environment and to us humans in our everyday life. A third of our diet is directly linked to bees, eating insects is far more efficient than raising and eating red meat; 15% of pet food in the Netherlands is from insects- all amazing facts.
